or man we are so jealous another cracking shot si come on we want to see a day time fox fella :good:

Ha! Thanks Swiss. Wish I had the opportunity for a daytime fox. I've only ever taken 2 and that was this time last year with this rifle at 180yds then late summer at 260 yards in the fading light. Neither would have allowed me time for the camera. :hmm:

Si, what range finder do you use ? And whats the damage like on a bunny at between 60-120 yards with a head shot with this cal ?

Cheers

Matt :good:

Hi Matt

I use a Leica 1200. Head shot bunny is very edible. Generally takes the head either off or almost leaving the body in tact.

Cheers

There's occasionally a few shreds of skin left where the head was at those ranges.

Issa gone. :)

It's doing 3840 f/s which is very mild for this calibre. My last one shot well at 4000 f/s but in reality the accuracy always comes first and this shoots sub 0.25 MOA with the current load. It will be easier on barrel and brass so I'm not complaining as it will shoot over 1000 rounds per year.

nice shot?but it looks like the shot came from the right and not where the camera was aiming from

It did come from the right. 3 yards from the camera position to be more exact. I could see ground behind the pigeon and not that bush as the camera would suggest. I don't shoot into bushes for safety reasons.
