Brown Sauce
Well then the time has come, when I can nolonger stick working for a bunch of feckless numpties, that are Lloyds Bank. So as of tomorrow I shall be handing in my notice, taking a month off for gardening leave and going self employed. In the next month I'm looking to achieve- ACE pigeon shooter, have a well manicured garden, topped up tan and significantly reduced stock of cartridges. What would you lot do??? ack-ack
I had over a year of it and I must say it wasn't easy. Half my clients were old duffers that hardly had a bean. I ended up working for diesel money half the time as I never had the heart to charge them full whack. I just hope they remember me when they're in the solicitors Edited April 19, 2012 by ack-ack

Doc Holliday
That's true. ifyou never do it you'll never know and probably spend the rest of your days wondering 'what if...?'. There have been many times in the past I've thought about handing my notice in as the guv'nor can be a bit of a hard task master. Being self-employed does have its downsides as well you know
Brown Sauce
Job done notice in this morning at 8.30am, line manager turns up at 9.15am and I'm staright on gardening leave Fortunately it's something we'd planned for, so we have a financial reserve to cover the major bills. Still it'll be interesting times. Think my wife has designs on my doing more child care, so already a downside well we'll see....
