Just buy the stainless! Harder wearing and easier to keep clean!

Harder wearing? Hmmm... Gunsmiths I talk to say that they prefer working with stainless because it's easier to machine, so I don't think it can also be harder wearing. Corrosion resistant I'll give you mind!

the package comes with a stainless barrel however i would prefer it to be blued,not a great fan of stainless but the price is right...

 

so is it possible to get it...black,,,if possible

Can a blued action and barrel be treated to appear stainless and make it more weather resistant?

 

We could nickel plate it, polished it would be too shiny for field use but matte nickel would work I guess, some airguns are finished that way.

Get it in stainless, it will grow on you! I agree with you that blued steel with walnut looks a lot better, but all my guns are stainless now. As Fister says if its that big of a deal then get it Duracoated.
