Ireland's Finest!
What a finish to the game, unbelievable. Credit to nited for putting up such a good battle with what I think is the worst united team in recent years. What a way to win the league. Stunning game. MCFC- 2012 CHAMPIONS. Whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Worst United time in years, yet we were seconds away from winning it? What does that say about us?

Browning 425 clay hunter
Yes city bought the title. Unlike united who have broke the British transfer record how many times, just because united have no money to spend don't be 'bitter'. Second place is ok, for a debt ridden club from Salford. Champions 2012 There is truth to it. City have come from been a midtable club to winning the league in a few short season all because of the Arabs. Without them you'd still be a mid table team you do realise that? How many players on that team today came through City's academy? A club with no history. jacksdad
I agree with the comments about MUFC spending to win: thats why I don't go any more, why should I save up to buy a season ticket so that players can get £xxxxxxx per week? There should be a new cup for the amount spent per win....another definate for the Blue trophy room, sorry, small cabinet! Anyway, the Mancs first and second....best result ever! Browning 425 clay hunter
Ireland's finest. How many united players were from their youth team today, giggs and scholes are your last decent academy products. Not exactly recent are they. Also with out united cherry picking the best talent and paying huge sums where would they be, de gea 18m, Ferdinand 30m, carrick 18m, Rooney 28m, berbaflop 32m, young 18m, hardly uniteds academy team is it. I know how u feel Irelands finest, we've been the unsuccessful club in Manchester for many years, now it's your turn pal, As I'm sure your hurting for your local team, just a ferry or plane journey away. I will leave you to sulk and lick your wounds. Just remember to try and be gracious in defeat. Unlike I'm being at the moment. 44 years of hurt ended today and all the better that united thought they had it in the bag with 5 mins to go. There's always next years league, and the champions league, unless united get banned by the FIFA fair play rules, you know with them being 650m in debt. What a glorious day to be a city fan. No they didnt, City won it. The only team that ever gave it away was us (Newcastle) when Keegan bottled it I didnt want city to win for the reasons named above ie bought it, but thats the way it is these days, man u have also bought it before to some extent so did chelsea and blackburn. Accept it for what is was, a good season and next year hopefully will be the same. Newcastle had a GREAT season and long may it reign, but at the end of the day its football. As much as it grieves me, well done city.

Ireland's Finest!
you are joking or are you on potato wine? KW Which league is better, don't say Spain because there's only two teams in it. Yes I know Bilbao played us of the park this year but in a 38 game season they couldnt hack it. United, City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Newcastle[possibly] would finish well above every other team in Spain(ex. Barca and Madrid say). n11tht
As a united fan i thought the title was over before kick off today and then to lose it with 90 seconds of the city game remaining was heartbreaking. However this could be a blessing in disguise for united. If they had won the board would think that there is no need to invest in new players. Hopefully after missing out on the league and flopping in europe they'll realise the team needs strengthening.

CTID Johnny Evans, Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverly have all performed well this season(Cleverly was brilliant at the start of the season). These players came through the Academy. Include Giggs and Scholes thats alot more players than City. Dont worry about me, I've felt what your feeling now for the last 20 years. Great feeling Isn't it? United are still the top team In Manchester, City have a long way to go to come near us. You's have zero history, but we'll see what the next few years brings. Enjoy your day because without doubt United will be back season. You've spent crazy money in the last 2-3 yrs to only beat the 'worst United team in years' as you say, by virtually the last kick of the ball in the last game of the season. And dig about me been Irish Never heard that before. Yawn. Edited May 13, 2012 by Ireland's Finest!

That's got to be the understatement of the year With his history and that display today he should be banned for life from any form of football, playing or spectating (well any so called sport tbh)and as his behavior is that of a psychopathic a very long spell in a secure mental hospital wouldn't go amiss. Its all relative. What did Barca and Madrid achieve in Europe this season? Which league has been more exciting this season? United are well past it  You ill?
