ack-ack
Epic Eurovision fail. What on earth were team GB thinking fielding him? I don't know how we will live with the shame of the whole of Europe knowing that we can't write a catchy tune or get a convincing performer to run front of house. Diceman
I'm assuming you are being ironic? We could put the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, or any global superstar you like up for this and we wouldn't win it. The voting has absolutely nothing to do with the song or the singer. It was only ever worth watching for Wogan's commentary as he predicted every vote. I do remember a few years ago, when we got nul points, getting a call from a German colleague the next day, she really thought the whole country would be in mourning and was quite shocked that we thought the whole thing was a joke. ack-ack
Au contraire mon ami, the annual shaming of the cream of the nations artistic talent is a travesty. European Unity is in jeopardy should this 12 monthly Brit bashing gladatorialesque show be allowed to roll on year in year out. We may have given the world The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Led Zep, Cream, Pink Floyd and Craig David but this means nothing if we cant recapture the glory days of Bucks Fizz storming the event like a Panzer division. Not! Who actually watches this pap now? Without Wogan it is nothing.
Vince Green
It wouldn't matter who we put on, the other countries won't vote for us.Stuffed before we start
Chard
That cackpile waste of air time has absolutely nothing to do with music Just a showcase for tinpot Eastern European crapholes to assert the only bit of power they'll ever have Haven't watched it for years, but I can hear the sound of silly Euro-jollity and mindless gibbering blurting out from the next room... The only useful function that show has, is to remind the British that they are NOT Europeans and never will be. Chr15j
To be fair the Hump was pretty dull. The russian grannnies however....legendary! Overall quality this year was better. Eurovision is an institution for the mrs family and extended family all pitch in for the fun whilst father in law whines like an old woman about eastern european countries voting for eschother every year! No matter how bad you thought you were we were worse JEDWARD. From a nation known for great musical ability and they thought we would be adequately represented by 2 planks that act is if they have special needs.. How shameful, how more obvious could they make the fact that they didn't want to win..

CZ550Kevlar
When will we realise that being one of the big Five is just tipping money down a massive hole and in the process yet again subsidising the third world ex soviet block countries. TaxiDriver
The best we could have hoped for would have been Jedwood getting kidnapped !! (Now THAT, would have been a RESULT!!) Although it wouldn't have been long before the kidnappers would be changing their demands... "Pay xxxx Million dollars or we give Jedwood back"
berties
I can't believe its up for discussion !! my 12 year old after watching the eurovission for the last two years predicted the voting pattern, the bookies had all the answers, mr norton made the results as humours as possible,I loved the Russian Grannies but fell a sleep in a mental melt down of boredom in the last half an hour,I was just surprised we never came last
