Cluson Blaserlite. 2 million cp and excellent value for money. I've used mine for many trouble free years. You can also buy a bracket for it, to mount it to your scope. :good:

 

Lightweight..double bulb...handle unscrews and it'll fit in you pocket...great lamps... :good: :good:

In that case I think you're on the right lines, many lamps claim a huge output but I'd guarantee put the cluson up against a 240 and it would look puny, not so important under white light but add a filter and there is a large difference. A dimmer is also fairly essential

was looking at the 240 because i lamp a lot of fell ground whats all you other lads useing :blush:

 

The 240 is heavy and big and if there's any bit of wind its like a parachute holding it up.

 

The 170 is a great lamp and the beam will pick out eyes at well past 600 yards.
