FOXHUNTER1
Never even heard of a white Grey just black ones. Maybe one to get mounted? Very unusual all the same...

Yoggy
Nope, thats the first one I`ve seen. I once shot a pure white pheasant. Decided to get it mounted. Took it to a local taxidermist,a few good months went by so decided to nip round and see how my pheasant was coming along and the house was empty!!!!!!. No doubt he sold it for a nice tidy sum!! :sly:
halight
Thanks for posting mate, Iv never seen one before. As others as said it might be worth getting something done with it, that might have been the very last one! Why not email the photo to a zoo or somewhere of the like and see if you can get any info on it ??
Reece
I've never seen or trapped one but my friend has seen one in a wood I control. Going to have a proper look one day and see if I can get it. A few years ago there were reports of them in Guisborough woods, a forestry commission wood which is close to the wood I control. Apparently there has been the odd one around here over the years. It's in the genepool. I would do something with it. I would get in touch with a taxidermist. zab10
my mate shot one that winter past , it had a bit of grey on its lower sides but other than that all white with black eyes . i know of another that was shot only a few miles away from where my mate got his one . kinda thought they might have the same gene pool but who knows .
