One of the straightest shops I have ever dealt with. I trust them - which I would not say for many shops.

Completely agree with this comment ....

I have bought from, and sold several guns thro them.

Always found his prices very reasonable for the quality.

Also seemed to be choosy over the guns he took as commission sales.

went there once to buy a new Maxus, came away without one,the bloke was a complete **** ,I still regret the wasted

time and fuel.

People had told me he gives very poor price on a px,and I ended up getting £250 more from another gun shop, for the Teknys I was part exchanging.

2 years ago, I was after a second hand Browning Waterfowl. Derek Lee had the cheapest in the UK so I travelled from the Wirral ! Great service, good advice and lots of choice. I also got a good part exchange for my Escort. :good:

I bought my Benelli there, was a very pleasant and painless experience. No, he doesn't usually give cash discounts/high trade in, that is because his guns are usually very good prices in the first place - I got the Benelli at over three hundred quid cheaper than anywhere else I could find in the UK at the time. And to echo one of the other posters, he doesn't have many 'cheap and cheerful' guns, because there is not the usual rusty and scratched old things that some shops seem to fill their shelves with, nearly every gun is in excellent condition. If you are looking for a cheaper, more 'used' gun, MGR in Woodhall Spa, about five miles away, has a fair selection and also seems a nice guy - although when I last went there about 18 months ago, the sight of a fairly new Cynergy Black Ice with home drilled 'porting' (NOT done by him) at the end of the barrels almost made me weep.

Bought a lovely Lanber Sporting Deluxe from him (travelled all the way from Leicestershire as his prices and the guns wood were the nicest I could find) and found it a very pleasant experience for my first shotgun purchase. Very happy to of done business with them and would use again.

£10 a fill is a bit expensive, maybe thats his way of syaing he doesnt want to do it lol? but his gun prices are fair from

What I've seen on his site

I filled my 12l dive bottle for the first time and was charged £5 the next time i went i was served by a different person and charged a tenner (two months later) the bottle was empty both times. That said i do still buy my .17hmr ammo from there as its well priced.
