Cranfield
I've been too busy sorting out fishing tackle from my Ireland trip. It took me ages to remove all the mackerel scales from one of the rods and reels. From what I have seen this weekend, the birds seem to be well scattered on disced stubbles and quite a few are on the elder berries already. There is no drillings on "my" land at the moment, but there are two large fields of wet wheat waiting to be harvested.
Catamong
Was stuck in a queue on the M25 this afternoon near J9, (A3), after coming back from clay shooting at Southdown, watched loads of Pigeons flighting on to nearby bean stubbles, as usual completely unmolested, somebody could have had a big bag there today.
