Where you shooting Cos? Inland I assume - over your way? I'll be up and out at the sparrows ****... and will be back home for a local charity clay shoot for 10. I think last season we were done by 7.30/8. I'd get up early, drive there, shoot, then come back and still make it to work on time (apart from when the car broke down on the M1)

Plenty of time for SWMBO

:)

Hey Ben

Will be in Tring for the ducks hopefully multiple times, then late October to early November will be going to Dingwall in Scotland for 3 days on pinks and greys. Can't wait!!

Gonna be a good husband and stay home September 1st....

i stayed at Dingwall many times in a cottage that a welsh chap had straight in front of the foreshore, shame he sold up and moved to Findhorn, folk who have it now hate shooters.

The worse thing about it is I`ll be noticing all the cars/trucks parked up... as I have to drive past the entrance to get to work!! :shout: :shout:

Really frustrating, had a few Mallard moving on first light but all well out of range. I was busting for a pee but waited until there were no birds flighting. Stood up and moved 2 steps back into the reeds and whilst doing the business a heard a splash down behind, turned around and a drake Mallard had pitched into the middle of the decoys and was looking round rather nervously.

I reached for the gun but he saw me and lifted, i sent a shot after him but was nowhere near.
