sitsinhedges
Not the way that I make mine but interesting nonetheless for those who want to have a go without spending too much.

Tad-blody
Hi Sitsinhedges, Nice find that video (didn't know you spoke russian, is there no end to your talents). Do you have to grade your shot or is it ready to use? Thanks
BangBangNik
Very interesting. Just out of interest what sort of quality do you think can be achieved doing shot making this way?

sitsinhedges
Hi Sitsinhedges, Nice find that video (didn't know you spoke russian, is there no end to your talents). Do you have to grade your shot or is it ready to use? Thanks Made carefully you get consistent sized shot. It's all about consistency, the amount of lead in the pot, temperature etc Very interesting. Just out of interest what sort of quality do you think can be achieved doing shot making this way? Depends how much effort you put in and how much experience you have. My shot is pretty much as good as factory made stuff but my set up is a bit more sophisticated than this.

fieldwanderer
Obviously not worried about lead poisoning, very interesting nonetheless. Thanks for sharing
Floating Chamber
That looked like battery grid plates he was melting down I think so, too. Even though working in the open, the arsenic, peroxide and other toxic residues have aged him. He's only twenty-seven.
Tin Man Work
Marvelous bit of video - thanks for posting that. It did make me think of when the Americans spent millions of dollars developing the zero gravity space pen so their astronauts could write things down in space - the Russian cosmonauts just used a pencil! Simples! Edited September 14, 2012 by Tin Man Work
fortune
Very simple. Very 1960's era type table cloth and pan stuff. wonder if he's got the three china ducks on the front room wall. And that was one of his best Sunday socks that he was using as a strainer! God help him when the missus gets back home. Will he reply that he has made a start on getting the dinner ready and that the hot water will make a good basis for boiling the cabbage for dinner in? Why did he bother to use the table cloth to cover up that old bench / table? After all he's only knocking up a bit of shot?
