Digital chronographs

Recommended Posts

I bought a Chrony F1 recently - Best deal was from 'Merlin Archery'.

Very easy to use, but doesn't save shots to memory, so you need to note them down.

These also come with a pre-threaded hole to accept a standard photography tripod mount... Saves a lot of faffing about when trying to get heights right.

I've only used mine for air guns thus far, but will use it for powderburners at some point.

Yes - I'd also recommend an F1 Chrony from Merlin archery (Same item but about £25 cheaper than from a shooting shop) By use of a remote button you have access to loads of data that is in the Chrony, you just can't access it without the remote button (about £15)

The remote button will give you Highest/Lowest shot, Average, Extreme spread, Standard deviation.

Yeh I think I need to invest in one of those little remotes.
