ozzy518
Save your dosh. Saw the end off your existing poles and aquire some road pins. The things builders use to hang safety net from. Chop off the u shape at the top and cut to length. Just slip your now hollow hide poles over the road pins. No ground will ever be too hard and your hide will not get blown over in the wind
stu nesling
good if you dont have to carry them 1/2 mile ..... never bend though

bigolbear
they are dinsmore syndicate (xt) bank sticks. found them on ebay as most fishing shops dont have them. they even come with a tommy bar to fit through the pole for winding into real tuff stuff. beats ripping the under layer of skin on your hands as i do most times. thats how much force you can put into them!! Thank you for that just got 4 and 4 small rod rests to act as net hooks sprayed them green and they are very good strong witha solid arrow shaped point
Catamong
good if you dont have to carry them 1/2 mile ..... never bend though Yes..my thoughts entirely, just how long are these cut down road pins...? Anything longer than 18" would be a big extra weight. Cat.

jamesfd
im a bit tight so made my own used thin metal bar then welded j bolts on the top and kicker plates one the bottom leave about 200mm to fit in the ground then used a grinderer to make the end into a point works for me. ROBLATCH
i have seen them and the are a similar design to the ones ive just binned, the problem is, the ground i shoot on is VERY hard and they seemed to snap off just below the kick plate the jack pyke ones look a better design, are they any good? yep i use them and are perfect
