tiercel
While decoying today something happend that I have never seen before. I shot a pigeon and winged it as it landed and done it's obligitoy flaps, a Sparrow hawk pounced on it. As it happens I had my camera with me so was able to capture it. when the hawk seen me he left the pigeon, but he came back three times and had another go at the pigeon. Sorry about the quality of the pics but I am no David Bailey.

Markio
Excellent. I had a smililar experience yesterday, a kestral (i think) swooped into my decoys, it got within 1 meter and slowed right up and turned away, i guess it figured the decoys didn't look too edible. Nice shots.

Frank
Interesting that. Ive seen them hunting a few times, saw one once bang into a starling and went to the nearest small flood in the feild to drown it. Amazing birds. Frank. Evilv
Good pictures under the circumstances. I wished I'd had my camera handy recently when I returned after a wander about with the rifle to pick up a half grown rabbit I'd shot earlier. As I came around the corner of the wood a buzzard flew off with the remains. Seems he'd been enjoying dinner when I rudely interrupted him.
