Paul223
Never tried it - what's it like ? like slightly over ripe sex, try some but don't be a sissy, go for a good dollop on cold toast with plenty of butter

defender
I love it in sandwiches, on toast, in stews what ever it goes with but I don't like Twiglets except perhaps if they are dipped in Marmite A mates Mrs hates it but comments on how much nicer stews are when he makes them, but she doesn't know about the dollop of Marmite that goes in it
Chris Bb
My mother's recipe for gravy: meat juices, healthy dollop of Marmite, a goodly shake of flour, water from kettle. Didn't matter how much she stirred it, it still came out lumpy & tasty! And that's how I still make it. My daughter reckons it's still the best & only way to go, regardless of her mother's recipe. Bisto, if you must know, always thin & tasteless.
marmitemania
mmmm.... Let me have a think about the answer to this one (whilst looking at my profile)..... It forms an intrinsic part of my life I eat it every day, so yes I love the stuff but cant eat any of the generic supermarket stuff, can spot it a mile off in a sandwich.
