blackfive
Hi not new on here but this is my first post, as never spent to much time on here yet & only starting to relise what a good site this is! I am from north east england & am in to vermin control & the preservation of our native red squirrel. As a member of Morpeth & District Red Squirrels (MADRS) & for the purpose of grey control I am looking for a perhaps a 3rd shot gun. I would like advice please from you boys & girls to which 2 - 3 shot stealth gun i should perhaps choose. Perhaps a Investarm 20g O/U Hushpower, yes it looks not the best but its a work tool. A sexy & or a better choice would be a 20g beretta (conversion), but at wot cost? Or would a Mossburgh 410 3 shot pump do the job? Many thanks for reading. mat. Fisheruk
Hi and welcome. I had a 410 but now use a 20g. The extra umph of the 20 is an advantage when you see a grey out of the. 410 range.
Reece
Welcome, and good to see more people doing their bit for the red squirrel. Keep up the good work. I control grey squirrels to help songbirds, as we don't have any red squirrels around here. In the vermin control section of the forum, there is a grey squirrel count every year, pinned at the top. Be sure to add any of this year's kills to the 2012 count, and next year's to the 2013 count when it starts.
