game_boy
Just so I feel I'm not the only one. I'm night shift all week so won't really feel I can relax until the 28th for a few days. So who else is in the same boat? Merry Christmas GB.

Muggins.
My kids are grown up now, i prefer to let them with young ones have the time off. But will they return a favour later? i doubt it.
parapilot
I used to work it before I had kids. But now with 2 young kids I avoid it like the plague. Im off till 2nd, but on emergency call 29 / 30th so not to bad.

Zapp
I'm on call over New Year. The usual thing - singlies cover Xmas and family folks do New Year. Works for me, I never did give a poop about New Year anyway.
decoy1979
Working 8 days straight up to the 26th, got the 27th off then back for another 7 days. Best bit is a night shift tonight until 7am, then back on a short change at 3pm leaving me on afternoons through Xmas day & boxing day. The children have the grandparents round so at least they will be happy and entertained.

White Lodge
I was supposed to be going back to sea for a month missing Christmas and New Year but the thrusters have broken and the job is delayed until it has been fixed. So, result for christmas at home but I have already spent the overtime time bonus on a new gun, But I feel for all working at Christmas as I have done it many times my self, so Merry Christmas to all not at home.
