Karl a1
Walked feeding pigoens off field today and set up decoy pattern and hide. Nothing happened! Went for a look round the corner and they'd all moved their, so I walked them off again got back into my hide and they went over to non permission land. 1 hour to set up 2 hours waiting and walking them off 2 hours waiting and packing up Shot 1 squirel and let 6 off to stop birds landing in wrong patch why do we do it? matone
Sounds like a typical day at this time of year! It gets you out in the countryside though and you always see something of interest !

Bigrifle
Ok where to start, walked pigoens off field mistake no 1, set up in front of lookouts mistake no 2 chased them about and returned to hide in front of lookouts again mistake no3. To remedy put flags (bags on sticks) in areas you dont want them to feed the day before you shoot, set up before birds are feeding and if its on rape take a book to read good luck

JDog
Walking pigeons off the field is essential, but so too is sitting up afterwards and watching to see if they return and more importantly which part of the field they return to.
