Not really, they are now getting hammered in the summer as well by people. Out of the three I shot, two had lead pellets in, around a number 6. Disgusting. In my opinion, they need to come off the general license as people are seeing them as pests. I understand they may be pests in some areas, but far too many people feel they can have the odd pot shot during the summer now without appropriate cartridges.

Nice video. Might have been better to have the camera set facing forward beside the hide? Just so you can see the geese coming in. The head cam was good though!

I noticed they are going on the general licence in Scotland next/this year,(I'm guessing that's in force now actually?). I like them as a wildfowl quarry but they aren't really a 'wild' species like the pinks.

Great video! Just bought one of those chilli cams so hope to capture some of my goose shooting too. Have you tried mounting the camera to the gun?

What goose call do you use also?

Cheers

Andy

With the pump, the action of reloading knocked the cam off. I used the Canada Hammer call. Works well and fairly easy to use, however, Im still learning it!

The wind changed direction in the morning so I had to move the decoys. Never moved the camera though. Oh well...next time!
