Pigeon breast

I normally shallow fry my pigeon breasts for a few minutes and let them rest for a few. Then have them along with roasties and pepper sauce. I find that pigeon breasts cooked like this (medium/rare) is very like fillet steak.

 

Yes I find it's like steak as well just I don't really like de breasting them!!!

I just tell myself to man up and get on with it lol

 

I made some curried pigeon pasties on sunday, quite nice but the recipe needs abit of tweaking to make it perfect.

 

The only pigeon breasts i don't eat are the ones that have been minced up completley by shot, they usually go to the ferrets!

 

Might have to try this it sounds nice I'm not one for cooking but there's nothing better then hunting your own food and eating it
