dadrew
Can someone give me the correct answer as to where the rubber ring fits please. I was led to belive that it goes under the end cap. Now Im reading that it goes on the magazine tube. After the Action Bar but before the Gas Piston. Or does it go on after the Gas Piston. Difficult to tell from the manual! dadrew
Under the end cap. Always the last bit to go on This what I was led to belive, but Im pretty certain its wrong! on top of the gas piston before the barrel goes on, then the fore-end and screw on cap. This makes sense! moor man
It slides on the tube AFTER the piston, attach barrel, slide forend on, finally locking cap. Hope that helps...MM Plenty of you tube tutorials, or do search here (" Under the end cap. Always the last bit to go on" not correct)
Haytime
on top of the gas piston before the barrel goes on, then the fore-end and screw on cap. Thats what I meant, sorry for the confusion.......I'll get my coat
dadrew
I had mine under the end cap the other day (thats how it arrived, second hand) so I had no reason to belive that it was wrong. Could this create cycling problems as the seal in the wrong place could reduce the amount of gas being held in the chamber i.e its leaking out! In fairness I was trying 65mm carts and I've heard they dont cycle so well, if at all. But I put a boz of 70mm through and had two jams. Just wonder if this could be a factor! alros01
like some one has mentioned there are plenty of bits on you tube that show you how this is done I've never owned one of these guns I did go to a gun shop and ask about them but he said if he had one in he would not sell me one because he said they were that bad.but a friend of mine has had one for years and he's had no problems and shot a lot of pigeons with it.my local gun shop has the new ones in and he said they have changed all the action and done away with the gas o ring

BerettaSV10
Piston, o-ring, barrel, fore-end, end-cap, done. As above. There are some you tube vids that show the O ring being put on wrongly, this caught me out when I first had my escort as I put it on in the correct sequence then had doubts when I saw the vids.
