aa flapper troubles

not the turbo , just the basic, the fuel line tubing is interesting , but the problem is right at the end of the spar it is bent back towards the body in a coat hanger type hook, this hook sits under the wing end flight feathers but has no fixing, I asked AA, they say just wrap a feather around the hook but when you do that the wing just slides back down the spar,

done all that but when they flap the end section just folds in so the end of the wire support is showing, ive now done a mod to the wires, instead of the open hook ive closed it to form a ring at the end of the arm, this allows me to wrap a long feather through the ring and tie it off so it cant slide back down the arm. just hope it works as well out in the field as it does in the shed.
