V8 90
The NM800IR is an awesome bit of kit but it'll cost you more the £100 ! Have a look on the website & add on an extension tube (needed for optimum power) & a remote pressure switch (if you want/need remote switching) HTH
al4x
I've got one and it works brilliantly with my archer, I don't think you will be disappointed

al4x
It won't work anywhere near as well. Try and get a demo of the nm and an illuminator there is a big difference
Gimlet
I can see further with the NM 800 in IR mode on my Pulsar N550 than I can with it used as a red lamp on a Zeiss scope. That's pretty damn good for NV illumination. Can't speak for other NV systems but with the Pulsar focusing the lens to suit the scope makes a dramatic difference. Its not just a question of tightening or widening the beam. Switch on and turn the lens to find the sweet spot and suddenly its daylight. I believe a new clamp designed to mount the NM on picatinny rails and give fine directional adjustment is about to hit the market. In the meantime I use a scope ring. Elmer Fudd 1
id say its worth spending a few extra pennies to get a quantum fire fly.they are about 300 squids but are by far the best ir i have ever seen like they say but cheap buy twice (not that £100 is cheap) for under £100 i thing the pulsar 808 i got a few years back is quite good
al4x
Having both the nm outperforms the firefly hands down
Luckyshot
I use an N1000 on my archer and its in a different league to the quantum fire fly which you get with the archer. Ive tried the NM800ir but found it to big to fit on the archer comfortably and fitting it on the gun defeats the object of using the archer. al4x
That's where having both pays off nm mounted on the scope for the shot and the firefly on the archer for spotting

ant.mass
i will just stick with my marky light its just as good as the Night Master 800 maybe better but def a lot cheaper
andrewluke
i'm pretty sure that the night master 800 IR will not work(or not very well) with the pulsar challenger as the nightmaster ir is 850nm and the challenger likes it at 800nm or less, andrew
sixhills 69
i spoke to scott country and they said it would work i can still return it as it was purchased over the internet but i can not understand why a company would try and sell me one when they know it will not work
