Didn't get to sleep till 0200 this morning bloody mind racing!! Did I say the right thing? CZ550Kevlar Posted March 6, 2013 Report Share Posted March 6, 2013 It was a shock to me, I work as a contractor bridge engineer for Surrey through their maintainance contractor and mentioned to one of the surrey engineer managers ii had applied for a job with Kent county council and that's when he dropped on me they score your application and your interview then best score wins. Apparently it's for accountability so that if someone asks why such and such got the job it was on merits and not because of knowing someone. Worst thing is he told me that after I had hurried my application, at least I got an interview so can't have been that bad.
