Piebob
Well, after all the expectation it proved a truly horrible experience. Last time I set foot in Scotland I think. Oh dear, what went wrong? I used to beat at Glen Ogil amongst other places many many (20 or more) years ago. They were fantastic days, great fun and with big bags for the guns. JDog
Yes please tell us. I suspect that there is some irony in the post and that you shot 200 brace and ran out of cartridges and shot badly. If there is a sub plot, please let me know if the Scots are attacking the English in the Glens. I have some shooting in the Lammermuirs next week and I need to know whether I will need protective clothing, knives etc. Edited August 20, 2013 by JDog
Beretta06
The problems have become a bit of a legal issue now, so can't give full details until that gets sorted out. However, I will say it was very different this time to when my Company went there 3 years ago and it was under Dodd's care. For all his faults, Dodd was masterful with an eye to detail and service etc.

SO3isme
I shot in the Lammermuir area last week and the natives were friendly The weather was good and the Grouse plentiful (to my inexperienced eye).
ciltalgarth
I take it your days where Monday and Tuesday last week.
scotslad
I thought they shot there target for both those days last week around the 100 brace mark. I don't think the new owner will have made much diference, most is carrying on as usual and it didn't shoot well the past 2 seasons under mr dodds either That's the thing with a truely wild bird no such things as a guaranteed bag.
