hawkeye
Well first report on the new pigeons for the magnet. Kieth and myself spent all day going round our different farms trying to find some birds so we could try them out. After 3 hours we decided to go blast a few clays as we had seen nothing. After the clays i took the motor to the garage my airbag light was coming on all the time i was stuck in there about 1 hour while they fixed it (under warranty). While i was there Mobile rang it was Kieth he had been to look at some other farms of his seen nothing. Then while he was talking to me it was a case of "hang on pigeons are dropping in the corner of this field" I got a running commentary about the pigeons for the next 15 minutes. I Told him to get set up but he hadnt time as he was going to work tonight. He's not of now till next week so hope they build up in numbers so we can have a go then.. UK Shootwarehouse thanks again for the birds pity you could not send us some real pigeons as well to try them on. Good or Bad we will let you know how they work but after seeing them ive got to admit they look good better than the ones you had for test that we saw last month.. Highlander
My only concern at this point is the reliance on wind to 'inflate' the sock. Yeh I know we shouldn't bother going Woody shooting when there's no wind but how much does it take to get them looking right. In truth I've not seen them yet but some years ago I have seen some of the old goose ones and they weren't much good without a blow. Guess they'll need to be used with other deeks as well 'cause if they all fly head to wind that's gonna look somewhat posed
