New to the site.Ex army. Was into my fishing (carp) but had to give it up 2 years ago cos due to ill health.Thought I would take up arms again in the form of an air rifle,so far I have had a Logun s16,

and a Stealth but sonn realised that if I wanted to actualy hit the target I needed to get a "proper"air

rifle...

I am after an s400 .177 Classic,so if anyone has one or knows of one for sale please let me know...

Thanks see you around the site...

Yes indeed I have the AA S400 .177, just sold my BSA .22 lightening spring gun as I wanted to move on to a pcp.

It is very well engineered , a little heavy but so solid, with a good scope, I have the hawk with illuminated mill dot system, it shoots 6 shots at 30 yards inside a 15 millimeter circle. I intend to use it for lamping rabbits and some pigeon roost shooting, My only thought on this weapon is that I wish I had gone for the S410 with the 10 shot mag, reloading a .177 into the breach in the dark is going to be a bit of a challenge, its difficult in daylight with my fat fingers. There is a mag on the market to fit into the breach which holds 10 pellets , it dosn't rotate automatically when reloading , but would make reloading in the dark a lot quicker and easier, problem is its £60 , so think about what you want to use the gun for, but I can thoroughly recommend the AA S400. :good:
