We've got both the Crafter & Sprinter at work. Power wise they're both as good as each other easily cruise at 100 with loads of kit in & half a dozen people.

Don't know if they're 6'3" though. :hmm:

Can you get a crafter with more than 110 bhp?

I'm going to be honest here chaps, I'm re-training to be a mobile dog groomer. I've worked in the stunt industry earning stupid amounts of money, then the engineering industry earning well but having to do stupid hours and almost 150 miles a day round trip commute.

I've a mate who does the grooming and the living he makes is good to very good. I've always clipped my own etc and thought I'd prefer the lifestyle that he enjoys.

So I need a van I can stand up in and add a lining to etc, I won't be carting alot of weight around and I won't need to be doing massive miles per day at high speed, I live in norfolk they haven't heard of good quality roads here yet.

:)

We have a big crafter at work new one with the smallest engine slow but good on fuel, if not going far and needing to kit it out I would look at a Luton body on a chassis if starting out you can get an older chassis and swap the body to a newer one when funds allow!

Much more space inside.

Perhaps an ex ambulance?

If you are going to do mega milage the merc then the crafter are the omly ones with a residual worth having, amd if you want decent power then its the merc all the way.

Agree with this.

Don't know much about the Crafter engines but the merc engines are bombproof. And have been about for a number of years to prove their reliability.
