bunny_blaster
I've had plenty of 100+ bags on spring rape. It grows away from the pigeons quickly so look for low spots where it's been grazed down Ben
pigeon controller
We have two farms that are drilling spring rape and as Ben states it grows so quickly that the birds are only on it for a couple of weeks except for the grazed areas. Should be good sport.
Pigeonwings123
I've got 40 acres if spring rape going on on one of the farms I shoot and all the other farms have drilled up with spring barley. Hopefully it's the only bit of spring rape in about 10 square miles should be good sport
JDog
Normally I would be starting to look at spring rape in the last week of April but this year it will be very late and might not be of any interest to pigeons until mid May. When it gets to be about a few inches high it can be of great interest to pigeons as there will be very little other green crop about at the same time. RAMMER BURT
i had a 136 bird day on only a 10 acre field but the field only shoot twice as the rape grows so fast and the birds soon move on to clover layed wheat/barley and so on,enjoy and shoot well
