lou13
Hi! I am looking at buying a Lamp for some rabbit control, with my .22LR I want it cheap as possible and I will also need a battery. Has anyone got any suggestions? What about the kit on A1Decoys? http://www.a1decoy.co.uk/the-ultimate-100w-lamping-package-491-p.asp Thanks, lou13
joe soapy
Oouch, a led lenser L7 or similar will do what you need
Gregthegreat
Are you planning on going solo and mounting it on the scope or having a lamp man?
rwade545
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310653067565 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Action-Flashlight-Laser-Torch-Surefire-Barrel-Mount-/200811837749?pt=UK_SportsLeisure_Camping_LightsLanternsTorches&hash=item2ec1517935 mount the mount on the scope, the square part fits over the square part of the torch, goes on in seconds, pick up a set of 18650 batteries and charger for a few more quid and that is all you will need for rim fire. Can get red see throuhg plastic, cut to size and put it under front bezel of torch to make it red, still good for around 100m and with normal back for torch can use it for other things too, walking dog, diy camping what ever. mick miller
You want the ultra fire kit with red led and dx lens plus scope Weaver rail and adjustable mount. About £68 all in. Perfect out to 100 yards plus and tiny.
Dekers
100w is about as bright as it gets and there is NO dimmer switch on that unit, that will illuminate Wembley Stadium. As others have asked, do you want to scope mount or hand hold? I don't get it, but some seem to manage to hand hold and shoot, but mine are all scope mounted, and then on top I have night vision as well. There are plenty of complete kits around that can be had for around £100 (if you shop around). We all have the one we think is best!

joe soapy
i would not consider anything other that led this day and age the days of lugging around battery and bulky lamps are over for me Spot on, I find it amazing after starting lamping carrying a 6 volt lead acid battery powering a car headlamp. now use a tiny led torch powered by 3 AAA batts that will last for 2/3 nights of fun

Imperfection
I use the Deben Tracer. Its compact, great battery life and incredibly bright. Mine is supposed to be 200m beam which i suppose it is,but its effective range is 100m so perfect for rimfire.Takes coloured lens too. http://www.deben.com/tracer-gun-lights/tracer-tri-star-gunlight.html
