FOXHUNTER1
I was out the other evening for a stroll checking out the lamb fields. As I straddled a wire fence I happened to notice a fox the other side of the fence stood staring at me at a range of about 20 yards :o I obviously froze and it just continued staring at me , I couldn't believe it as I expected it to scarper sharpish but in hindsight the sun was behind me and I wonder if the fox was blinded by the sun? The fox crawled under the fence which is when I made my move by stepping back over the fence. The fox was now trotting up a slight gully in the field so I got set up on my bipod and was just about to give it a holler to stop it when a ewe with lamb at foot confronted the fox ........ this was my chance and a satisying thwack came back as the fox bowled over
