turbo33
I made up a larsen trap (see crafts and diy) a couple weeks ago to try and catch the Magpies and Jays that are wreaking havoc on the small birds in the garden. I had a bit of dried grass, and put a hens egg on it.....homemade nest!! Nothing so far, nothing this morning. Just got back from works and found this guy in there!! tjm160
Congrats turbo and that was with just "baiting" the trap (no call bird)? Has got me thinking I should consider trying trapping the incredibly wary crows the farmer on my permissions wants thinned.

shotgun sam
I got the first Magpie yesterday one of the women at the work is away with the wings and tail feathers. Only had the call bird for 2 days so hopefully there will be some more in the trap in the next few weeks. Sam
