camokid
dont ask me too much! lol i was thinking hornady v-max i use at the min 58gr but would like a round around the 70 80 gr mark and with the powder im not sure
al4x
I use those 58 vmax with 43 grains of varget and they are simply awesome, if you want a deer bullet then 85 seems to work well in something like a sierra soft point which I use with 37 grains of varget. Or the 87 vmax with a similar load. The first load is quite warm the second isn't what is quite interesting is the data Hogdon gives is a fair bit lower than my speer manual and also the velocities have been a bit slow so it would seem the speer is a bit more on the money so to speak

al4x
i am seeing a lot of this varget i take it its the powder of choice? its versatile and handles the lighter to mid weight bullets well so is pretty popular. The downside of which is its very hard to get at the moment but for your purposes it would work well only if you go over 85 grains in the .243 do you need to think about something else.
