Jeez, the police must be desperate to 'up' the crime figures in Ramsgate.

I remember once as a kid we drew chalk 'murder scene' outlines round each other every 10 foot or so for the full length of our street  . Probably wouldn't go down too well these days - especially as someone added boobs and a foot long willy alternately to each one during the night :lol:

"'We are trying to trace the officers who are reported to have made this comment," a police spokesman said. "From the circumstances described, it would not appear to have been necessary to advise the young girl that chalking a hopscotch grid may be criminal damage and illegal."

Panic Over.

God, where has common sense gone.

On the part of the police, or the media?

"It is understood that police were today “trying to establish” which officers may have spoken to the girl.

“We cannot currently trace any car being in the area at the time,” one source told The Daily Telegraph.

Mr Allen, who is known as Bob, was unavailable for comment today."

Could it be, could it possibly be, that the original report in The Sun was just a tiny bit made up?

They know exactly who was there, probably a case of protecting their own.

If they don't know where their cars are then they have bigger problems than hop scotch.

Also she has European human rights which says she is allowed to play as a child. (No idea if is true but I bet you there is one)

Oh dear, here we go again!!!

I take it the comment was refering to having a dig at PC's, If so then i am afraid they should allready be aware that a few jo public are out to make public any silly fluff ups that the police force make, regardless of how trivial some may see it. If they are not aware of this then they need briefing ASAP or go back to the training school.

If not then, ??? well you left it to assumption !!!

So a professional pub entertainer puts a bizarre story on facebook, it is picked up by that paragon of journalistic integrity The Sun and then he doesn't want to talk to anyone else in the media about it.

The police, very politely, deny it ever happened.

So, a cover up by the fuzz? Or a BS story in the first place?

Come on people.
