Frank
Went up to pick up my new freind today, to join me in some ferreting in the future. She is a Sooty sam bred, blue (ish) 13 week old whippet bitch. A wee bit shy at first, but coming on nicely. Pic below, not the best, as i did not get the camera out till it got dark. But will have better ones in the future. My son named her Millie. Frank.

Her mother took the odd fox, i was told and she had a few scars on her from foxes. Allways wanted one for ferreting. Mark, what is it with you and Hawkeye? Frank. Frank
Thanks very much folks. dazza, thanks, i will try and get some more pics this evening, failing that, tommorow, just back from work. She is settling great, not a peep out of her last night Kip, i put my foot down and kept my cool (not easy ) and just explained how i needed a good whippet. Took a while, but it worked Colin, i nearly did that, but my 5 year old son, gave the game away conor, thanks, love to see pics of your pup. magman, you dont have to set a whippet up, usually Frank. Contgrats Frank! Im sure she'l keep you company whilst you walk the fields Thanks Hunter. Id say she will be great campony. Frank.
Big Dog
Nice dog M8. She looks to have good strong legs, is she of the pure coursing breed of whippets or is she lurcher I have only ever seen 1 coursing whippet and they are so much more dog than the normal domestic breed. Whippets are a bit shy/nerves anyway. Like the feret, or the wife she needs plently of calm handling, affection, hand fed and she will do anything you want in a wee while True, I'm talking about the dog It will take a lot more time to get the wife going, well my wife
