lap9387
yes...i like those, did you use model paints ? No mate... the dark grey was primer from the pound shop, the lighter grey was an old tester pot I had from painting my bedroom, the white was a bathroom tester pot I had, the eyes where a mixture of the white and some orange poster paint I had and the black was some matt finish I had for covering my gun lamp.. The brown was just from mixing and guessing. .. the neck bands are nail varnish courtesy of my mrs... Cover it all in a matt lacquer and its done! They're LOVELY, you seem to have a real tallent. Thanks tc... I dont know if you're local, but ill paint some of yours up as a thank you for those plans
motty
They look ok, but i personally wouldn't have bothered with purple and green on the neck.
lap9387
I know most people wouldn't of motty.. but I thought "if I can paint one as close to natural markings and be pleased with it, then why not".If it looked **** then id of wiped it off but I was quite pleased

Alan Maughan
These decoys look very well painted, well done. Looking at the 'in the garden shot' it makes me wonder if grey with the white bits is all that is really needed and have the biggest effect on attracting others?
