Lord Geordie
And people wonder why I don't want to follow football All it leads to is Accusations - heated debates - Arguments (even between best friends) - fights - hefty ticket prices - over payed childish blokes who want to play Panto and feign tackles You can keep your football i would rather suck on a rotten grapefruit while humming the piano sonata LG
Devon Fox
I love it ...... is that all you got? I supose you "true" fans change clubs when you move from one area to the next ? Top of the league and we're havin' a laugh
Suffolk shooter
In my opinion every team in the league has a diver or cheat. Arsenal has van Persie and Henry Man Utd has Ronaldo and even Rooney Chelsea has Drogba and Robben Liverpool has Bellamy and Kuyt Tottenham has Defoe and Zakora West Ham has Ethrington and Mullins Everton (My team) has Osman, McFadden Aston Villa has Angel Bolton has Diouf (Should have been banned for life for spitting) etc. etc. etc. The main problem is that Referees don't do anything about it that means that players get significantly punished thus costing teams points, goals, matches. Until that happens it will always continue, however if you look above I think it's fair to say that the majority are foreign players. Why do they do it? Maybe it's because they can't hack the real game of football played by the English, watch any european game and you'll see it happen all the time and it's accepted over there as part of the game. In my mind its worse than someone using drugs to cheat. Why?? because they have no excuse other than their own inability to stay on their feet after a challange or header. Top of the league and we're havin' a laugh as long suffering mag who has in the past just about bankrupted himself following them to the ends of the earth ( and a very nice house of ill repute in kiev!!!!) This season I hope and as much as it hurts me to say it that the scum sorry man u take the title, and that a little exotic radioactive isotope is traced to the directors box at the place that has turned the need for a 4x4 into a joke? ps had to laugh at jose the interpreter never a footballer, calling gudjonsen a diver god did he not teach him? cheers KW
Devon Fox
I love the fact their is no mention of a "geordie" from Hartlepool, and a "londoner" in Oxford ! Chelsea are going to destroy football, i think we all have a common enemy, because they WILL dominate football for many years.

I am a pooley not a geordie and I am proud of that, dont matter were you come from its in your heart who you support unlike a russian "entreprenuer" your wallet? I sit next to two lads that travel all the way from Gloucester and they never miss a match home or away now they are supporters even though they dont speak true hinnie? now I suppose every leeds supporter comes from leeds or liverpool from liverpool nah it does not happen ever been to anfield and seen the buses of welsh liverpool supporters, I was out in barcelona last week and managed to get to see espanyol play zulte waregem in the uefa cup now espanyol compete obviously with barca but to hear the racket 15.000 supporters put up in a stadium that must hold 90 thou was a pleasure to hear and see, true supporters not glory hunters and acracking match at that . cheers KW
apbuild
OHHHHHHHH, I have unleshaed the dragon here. Football fans are a queer breed. Cant' see the faults in their own teams. I just wanted to stipulate how much Ronaldo gets my back up. I will never defend Drogba, Robben or any player that blatantly cons the officials because there is so much at stake, but Ronnie really gets my goat! Anyone got a view on video evidence being used during a footie game as they do in the rugby? Personally, I am all for it! Rob.
Devon Fox
Not sure about video evidence Rob, i am a believer of what goes around comes around!, i think it works in rugby because its a stop/start game, but it still takes a little while to come to a decision?! What i would be in favour of is a big clock on display in the stadium that counted down (as in basketball) and stopped every time the ball went dead this way at least the overpaid pre-madonna's would earn their money by providing 90 full mins of "entertainment" how on earth is the added on time calculated any how? and yes video evidence must be a way forward in my opinion it works in cricket and rugby maybe allow the ref to call for it as an when and each manager could call for it twice per match Kirky i love him very much and want to have his babies he is a top bloke and comes from a top place he is very clever indeed and has a far supierior intellect than anyone else i know i think Kirky should be a mod and be given a thousand pounds a week pay rise ( )
paulos
ronaldo may be cheat, but he is also far, far too good he may be awarded freekicks and penatlties, but look at the amount of goals and assists he creates, and defenders he leaves on their a**es with his pace and skill. he deserves at least a bit of credit. digger
torquay have started a no dive policy.in short it means any player on their books who dives gets a three match ban from torquay supporters and management.repeat offence and they are transfer listed. of course this would never happen in the prem where managers are blind as long as they get three points. it used to be about how you play the game not win at all costs, the disgusting antics of winker, drogba etc are taken as role models by millions of kids and yet its classed as part of the "game". amazing how few people proclaim to be fans of huddersfeild yet live in colchester, support exeter but live in bolton.my dad once drove through liverpool on the way to blackburn and came home through london so i supported lfc when they were good, blackburn when they won the league, arsenal next and now chelsea.i can find manchester on sky sports so i must buy a top, never go but be a fan.rmfaol at armchair supporters who think a season ticket is prem plus on sky.*****
