Mentalmac
Hi guys, Spent a whole day decorating my new house on satuday so felt I deserved a quick couple of hours out with the hmr. Ended up leaving mine at 8pm and not arriving at my perm until 8:20. So had already missed some good time to shoot! (With HMR on my perm I probably only get 2-3 shos per hour on average). I got out of my car, and saw a cheeky woody sat on the top of a old broken down rusted tractor and decided that the FAC Falcon would be handy here, managed to crawl like Bruce Willis in Die Hard films around the car on my hands and knees to get to the boot and get the Falcon. Ping and he was down, head shot and minimal flappage of wings. Poceeded to swap for the Marlin and pop my head around the corner. I assumed that as I had just let go a fac airgun and downed a pigeon hat anything nearby would have scarpered - all but one. Lovely sized fella stood tall, so I stood still. Looked all around me real slow to see if I could get into a better position (No sticks with me!) - Couldn't kneel as the lie of the land would have meantI couldn't see it and nothing to rest on, just me standing like a lemon and a rabbit. Raised gun and tried to steady.... no... too shaky after I had fiddled with scope. Lowered and rested for 10 seconds, then in one I raised to eye, spotted his head in scope, poushed safety forward with thumb and then let one off at him. One down, perfect 60 yard standing headshot! (Bet I will never repeat that!) Then rested gun on a old trailer and waited sat behind it until another came out approx 20 mins later. That was at the bottom gate, and 237 lage paces. Skinned, gutted and minced all meat I could off of them and mixed with some uncooked chorizo sausage, some bacon fat, 1 table spoon of worcester sauce and 1 tsp of mixed herbs and an egg and turned them into burgers for my last nights BBQ. Lovely :-)

Frenchieboy
Those burgers look really tasty mate! The only thing that could possibly improve them would be a nice cold can of beer or a glass of Merlot to wash them down!
