Cosd
The Barley on our permisions will be the first to be harvested, farmers have said it is looking like first week in August. Really looking forward to it, it's been very quiet the last few months.

NickB65
Still way too early here. HAs to be said the pigs have moved off the beet and even the rape is not as popular. Have to find someone with a Barley field or peas as last night I fired 5 shots in two hours and took three.
The Essex Hunter
Spoke to one of the farm lads and they are spraying next week, so around 10 days after that.....!!! TEH
al4x
fields accross the road were sprayed yesterday so its on the way, as for growing well erm some has but its a case of who got it in as last years harvest was so late most went in late or is spring varieties that look like they will yield very poorly. On the bit I shoot its fine but next door tried direct drilling it late over about 500 acres and a fair chunk was ripped up it did that badly
