fieldwanderer
Sooner or later, I'll be wanting a better chronograph (only have a little combro barrel mounted jobby at the moment). I don't want to spend a fortune on it but one that'll be reliable obviously, mostly for testing hand loaded .22-250 so needs to work well with fairly high velocities. What's best to get for around £100-£150? Assuming any in that price range are any good of course.
cleaner4hire
Look no further than here mate. Perfectly usable and a good price: http://www.merlinarchery.co.uk/chrony-chronograph-f-1.html
sitsinhedges
The Chrony F1 has been ideal for my purposes testing everything from airgun pellets to 12gauge shotshells. Just be aware that it is inevitable that you will shoot it one day
seeker
As above .... Chrony f1. saw one yesterday mounted flush in a cut out in a railway sleeper ... Maybe someone had previous experience? ?

fieldwanderer
Excellent, thanks chaps F1 sounds good to me especially at the price!
1066
+1 For the F1 from Merlin archery - also make yourself a remote button - very easy and gives you much more information.
moor man
Used an F1 for the first time recently at our rifle club, was clocking some homeloads and found it very easy to use. It even comes with optional computer/printer to calculate the data produced. I have since been looking at buying my own.........just cant justify the cost tho
longgun
I have seen good feedbacks about pro chrono especially for shotgun shoots. Just opinion.
fieldwanderer
Yeah, sorry I did see wymberley's post, chrony is a name I've heard many a time but never pro-chrono, you know much about them? And if it'll do anything better than the f1?
