Yep. Got one end of last year for the end of wildfowling. Absolutely brilliant. Ate all the big 3.5 inch shells I fed it, it has been through hell in mud rain and snow and never failed. Got some nice geese and ducks down too.It has impressed me that much it is now my go to gun. I use it on pigeons and rabbit, I even racked up my best clay scores on it too. Just keep it clean.... like any gun and dont feed it any carts shorter than 2 3/4 inch as its a 3.5 inch system the 2 1/2 inch mess up the cycling. Stick to the 2 3/4 inch carts and above. I use super fasts on clays and rio royal 32 on pigeons. You cant fail to be impressed especially at the price and fully backed warranty. It is my 2nd escort and the build quality is awesome. Try one out.

Cheers , seems to be no bad revives on these might give one a go as you get 3 of these to one high end auto

yes you do , but you also get what you pay for , now I don't have first hand experience of the extreme max , but I do shoot with a chap who has two of the newer model magnum escorts ( 1 is FAC) they are both nothing but trouble , constantly jam and miss fire , in fact he had lots more jams in a day the last time we shot together than I had with my Beretta in four years .

Now I am not saying buy a Beretta , if you want a escort then get one but do be prepared to miss some opportunity's of second shots or even first shots come to that !

Agreed. I have two and no issues on the right diet and general cleaning and if I ever manage to break one I'll definitely have another.

Fenboy, get your mate to try a different cartridge brand and stick to the 2 3/4 length stuff.

Bought a new escort magnum Saturday 11th, took it claying Sunday 12th to get a feel for it, with 51 clays on the counter the gun then failed..."click" and no bang, tested a few more different carts but nothing. Maybe broken firing pin I'm not sure. Its back at the gun shop already awaiting to be sent for repair. 3 year no quibble warranty is the ONLY reason I bought this cheap semi. Was going to save a bit more and get the A300 for another £400 extra but hey ho! It actually shot very very well (wife was dusting clay after clay with it) and its a nice feeling gun to use.

This is one of the main problems my mate has with his , lots of clicks and no bangs !

He has used numerous brands in 70mm and they all give problems , despite all the issues he has he seems happy enough with the guns , if they were mine I think I would toss them in the river

This guy has said it all:

Mine has never miss-fired, loves 3.5" gobbles them up. and of course they hit Duck like no other for me:

2 for one shot no problem with No 3`s , very hard hitting gun. someone may have been unlucky with buying, but mine was second hand hand and would not change it for any other , Sorry:-)). To the unlucky guys then.. Pigeons it loves them, They hate it: With Steel Shot too.

Get ready for the season by getting used to the cartridges you intend to use on Duck and Geese, These Barrels are Made For Steel..
