FOXHUNTER1 Posted August 15, 2013 Report Share Posted August 15, 2013 Out with Ratch again to see if we could mop up any cubs on the stubbles. 1st fox sat on the edge of cover without a safe backstop so lived to see another day... 2nd fox was crossing a stubble but wouldnt present a shot 3rd fox I lamped around 350 yards away at the top end of a stubble field. I started hand calling and the fox started gradually coming down the field , it wasnt flying in but just coming at a nice steady pace .
