Towngun
To me its a sin to kill and waste. There is a moral obligation to either eat what your shoot or facilitate someone else eating what you shoot. With that in mind I contacted a Game Dealer and was told I needed to have a Health Certificate before they could collect. Does anyone have experience of this or does anyone hold this certificate. FalconFN
What are you trying to sell, and are you prepping it yourself? I've had no problems supplying rabbits to game dealers or butchers, both prepped and in fur. Edited August 16, 2013 by FalconFN

I think you need some sort of basic hygeine certificate if you are selling pigeons shot more than 24 hours ago. Thats from memory but I am sure someone will correct if neccessary. Its never a problem with me as I can eat or give away my modest bags of woodies. Blackpowder
fl206
There's a flow chart in http://www.food.gov.uk/multimedia/pdfs/wildgameguide0611.pdf which should help. http://www.basc.org.uk/en/departments/shooting-standards/basc-training-courses/wild-game-meat-hygiene-level-2-fsa-training-dates-venues.cfm might be applicable? You would have got a much better price from Peterboro Game Company (40p) and they will collect too.
