il cacciatore
Can you still buy them ? If so, where from?
Noddy without Bigears
Now there a blast from the past, I remember them well, because they were cheap but dirty as hell I had to get the chimney sweep round to clean my barrels after I'd been out, I've not seen them on sale for years and if they were I would'nt buy them Noddy
il cacciatore
I used up the last of mine when I went clay shooting the other day. here Looking to buy more!
Gordon R
I have one - a collectors' item. I am willing to listen to sensible offers in excess of 1p plus postage / packing. I had 4999 other collectors' items, but foolishly used them.
Cranfield
Why would you want to buy them ? I remember the first outing I ever used them was duck flighting. For weeks after I swore to all my friends that they were tracer cartridges, due to the length of flame that left the barrel with every shot. They certainly test your gun for any loose screws. il cacciatore
Ok, so maybe they arent still available, is there something available that will be like a substitute?

Cranfield
Back in the '60's our local garage sold Sellier Bellot in the 10 cartridge flat pack. You were guaranteed one misfire every pack. I use to end every season with a shoe box full of cartridges with dented primers. I wonder if they ever improved them. The theory with S&B and Baikal were that as they came from Eastern Europe, they were made for the more robust guns from the same area, like Baikals. There was another one called Little Devil, or something similar, I seem to remember black cartridges.
Spook
Visit TRAGO MILLs!!! they sell the bloody things! half way through a box of the bargain bangs the primer split as I fired it and it made one hell of a mess in side my gun! Never again! Still have half a box, do you want them?
Gordon R
Spook - your half a box - free - is undermining my auction for one shell starting at 1p. Have a heart - it's Christmas.
il cacciatore
Spook, don't understand what happened when the primer split??? I went onto the sellier & bellot website (http://www.sellier-bellot.cz/) and they look good but looks can be deceiving.
Mungler
Big notice banning them at my local club. Dirty dirty cartridges.
il cacciatore
These ones weren't that dirty, they must have been good ones... Wont be using them for clays though just used them cause they were old and rusting.
arjimlad
I remember on certain clay shoots you could always tell which stand the chap using Records was on, they were so damn loud !! I've been given about 30 of these in no 4 shot - packs of 10. I am keeping a few in my belt in case I need a close range fox whacker. They still go bang. Cranfield
arjimlad, if you want to be sure of killing the fox, throw all the cartridges at the same time, 3 full boxes might do it.
