dafydd1983
Im in the process of buying a Browning Gold semi auto 10 gauge. My question is, what are the best steel goose factory loads on the market? I will be getting into home loading in the coming months, so will hopefully be able to sort myself some home loads, but in the meantime what would you recommend over the counter? Cheers
shakin stevens
I would go for the Remington Nitro Steel in 1 oz 3/8 in bbs these are around £30 a box for 25 bangs, work very well on the geese.

kent
I would go for the Remington Nitro Steel in 1 oz 3/8 in bbs these are around £30 a box for 25 bangs, work very well on the geese. I believe these are very hard to get now as Edgars had none a few weeks back. Hand-loading is the way forward anyhow on both performance and price, once my stock of Nitro steel is gone that's it for me with factory (the performance I am getting with SAM1 wads and Alliant steel powder is just too good to believe. If you find some Nitro steel buy all you can and save the cases
dafydd1983
Cheers for the replies, iv phoned a few shops around the UK, not many have any stock of 10g carts! I'm off to Lindesfarne this weekend, a shop up there said that may have some in on weds, so will pop in for a look. I have a lot to learn on the re-loading front, but I guess that's half the fun of it!
