sitsinhedges
Get some graphite powder off ebay or from a locksmith and using a bucket put a bare teaspoon full in 25kg of shot and stir it in with a paint mixing paddle in a drill. You should be using that anyway to make the shot flow better and not cold weld into a solid mass when fired. Don't use too much.

rem708
Agree with what has already been said. Ideally you would roll or tumble the shot for a number of hours. This will distribute the graphite and help to reshape the shot to be more spherical

I used to use a cement mixer with the metal tines removed and low level ones installed but there's really no point of going to the trouble. If anyone's turning out better shot than I make I'd like to see it

sitsinhedges
Is graphite not hazardous to health? Only if you breath a lot of it in like miners did with coal dust.
