hi here guys looking for some advice here as I have a webly and scott .410 that I bought a year or two back. the thing is I cannot find the same gun for sale anywhere else at all in either shops or online. so my question is does anyone know anything about a w and s .410 bolt action which you can not use the bolt to apply the safely catch as this model has none, the serial number on it is 119. the closest I have found is the type with a safety catch and the lowest serial number on that has been 1105. so does anyone have the same gun as me?

thanks guys all comments welcome

What do you mean by," you cannot use the bolt to apply the safely catch as this model has none". In the past I've had a couple and from what I remember you pull the rim shaped bit of the bolt back and twist it a bit and a peg on the bolt engages with a recess in the bolt body thus stopping the hammer part and the firing pin going forward in the bolt.

A picture of your bolt might help.

Ps. It must have a safety. Highly dangerous if it doesn't. you'd have to bolt it up when you wanted to shoot.

They don't normally have a catch as such, if you look at the back of the bolt assembly there is a round ***, pull it back and twist it clockwise about 45-90 degrees. I've seen loads as I was tracking down spares and every single bolt action .410 I've seen/owned weather it be w&s, anschutz or any other make has always had the same type of safety.
