FOXHUNTER1
Me and Ratch had a look out last night even though the weather was rubbish..full moon , very still and misty but he hasn't been out for ages and needed a refresher Our luck was in as I lamped a fox straight away in a rape field which was duly dispatched in no time.... On inspection it turned out to be another Stumpy .................seems to be a few around this year . Wish I knew what caused these foxes to be brushless Called at another spot on the way home and saw absolutely nothing ...not even a rabbit. But did managed to squeak in a pair of barn owls which hovered around our heads for a while......I love watching barn owls as they are my favourite bird and truly magical to watch them gliding in totally silent

JDog
I believe that the 'bobtail' results from litter siblings biting and chewing the tail. Is that a heavy frost on the rape leaves?

deaquire
I was out last night for rabbits and checked a rape field, looked exactly the same as that. It had me puzzled. Didn't see any eyes so moved on to the next field without investigating. The whole field looked as though it had snow on it! Edit: Nice shooting Edited October 18, 2013 by deaquire
