poorpeet Posted October 23, 2013 Report Share Posted October 23, 2013 Hi As above. I'm a Virgin Media customer and used to use their free anti virus. Then they updated it and it never worked properly again, their tech guy said it was a known issue. I am using Avast now but have used AVG in the past & wondered if one is better than the other or if there is something else I could use. If Virgins free stuff is fixed now i'd go back to that. I was just told Microsoft Security Essentials is as good as it gets for free by our work (external) IT solutions people. (good enough for me) Its now installed up and running! If you have a Barclays Bank account and use it online, you get 3 free licenses for Kaspersky which is probably the best paid for one.
