TWB the High Pheasant King
I've grown up shooting my fathers Beretta which fits me perfectly. 12 Bore with 28 in barrels and an unusual handgrip. I've only ever seen them again on rizzini and perazzi guns. I recently bought my own beretta but the hand grip is different and I feel its chunkier and harder to shoot Heres a picture to explain what I mean about the grips i know the top gun is a rizzini but its the only example I could find of the handgrip does anyone know if there's a special name for this kind of grip? or why beretta dont seem to do that grip anymore? thanks
RAMMER BURT
hi fella, semi rounded pistol grip Edited October 24, 2013 by RAMMER BURT
PhilR
The Rizzini has a Prince of Wales pistol grip and is generally found on game guns as previously said. The Beretta has a full pistol pistol grip although it's quite a wide radius. It wouldn't be a problem to have that altered to a semi pistol grip. Both I and AlistairB have had that job done on Berettas, mine was on a 20 bore which I've sold but Alistair still has his 12 bore SP and I'll get him to post a pic of it. TWB the High Pheasant King
Briliant, just emailed him now. How much do you think it will cost to have it altered?
PhilR
Briliant, just emailed him now. How much do you think it will cost to have it altered? £100? There are plenty of other stockers who can do this work. Malcolm Jenkins in Luton did mine and AlistairB's.
AlistairB
Haven't got a decent photo of mine to hand, but i'll take one later and post it. Mine was a bit more than £100, but i had the cheek thinned out, the stock extended, the POW grip and a london oil finish done on it. Malcolm did a cracking job on it.
